entering the airport at 6 o clock in the morning, with every step nearer to the flight, the blood rushing through my body as to all the uncertainties that lie ahead of me. From how are the other students going to be to whether i would be able to adjust with them, with all the question in my head the only solution was reaching and checking it out myself.
with an announcement of my upgrade from economy to first class in emirates, i was quite sure that this trip was going to be a lifetime since it's start itself was very exciting, travelling first class for the first time. With some chatting with the crew members and enjoying the leisure activities of first class, i landed in the wondrous city.
Through my way from airport to the hotel, i tried to sink in the marvelous structural wonders of the city and how fascinating was it to be there and meet other students who were till than strangers to me.
with time, knowing everyone, their business, their curiosity to learn made me sure that adjusting myself wasn't any more a question as i was just like them, just one of them. All of them very welcoming in their approach and humble by nature.
the study sessions were a very interesting and were practical by nature. i would like to talk more about the informal part of the trip. the party sessions, the dinner sessions the management of all people reaching the same spot at the given time was in itself a learning experience. sharing taxi made you talk with each other and open up more to all. the parties connected all the students in a informal way which was visible by all the joyous bus rides we made and the bollywood chorus we performed in unification ( though the bus driver had a lot of problem but we were able to balance the same with our share of fun ).
a very well framed learning experience as well as a lifetime memory with 53 fellow participants. Thats what dubai was.
AIM BIG and do the same is what the city teaches us. its just possible if u think it big. Finance is no obstruction, it just flows in if you can do it right.
